Happy New Year! PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 10 February 2014 19:05

Happy 2014!

We had a great year in 2013 where we celebrated with a Jam on the Lake and Santa Breakfast.  Thank you to all those who came, volunteered and supported these community events!  We are planning another great year for 2014 and look forward to your future support and involvement.  Please read below for some important updates.

New Board Members:

We are starting the new year with the addition of two new FVLA board members:

  • Sharon Boffo, FVLA Secretary
  • Kelly Heins, FVLA Trustee

These members were voted in during our November member meeting and are anxious to get involved in more FVLA events and our community!  Please welcome them at our next scheduled member meeting on Tuesday, March 4th at 6:30pm at the Ruch building and / or feel free to contact them directly.

Additional Board Member Changes:

After 9 long years of service, Dee DeAngelis has stepped down as FVLA Board Secretary.  She will continue to be involved in matters related to our dam project until its completion but will no longer retain Secretary responsibilities of the association.  Dee is one of the founding members of FVLA.  Without her hard work and dedication to this organization, we would not be where we are today. Robert Trainor has also stepped down as Website Manager, Marketing and Music Trustee, his contributions to the association and the FVLA Jam on the Lake were greatly appreciated.  We thank them both for their extensive volunteerism, continuous donations, heartfelt dedication and service to the Friends of Victory Lakes community.

Board Positions are Available:
