2014 Year End Events PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 18 April 2014 11:16

Thank you for attending this year's FVLA events!  So far, we've had three membership meetings, Community Cleanup Day, our first Designer Purse Bingo, a Model Railroad Open House and the FVLA Fall Family Festival.  It has been a busy year and we appreciate your support and sense of community with all of these events.  Before we close out the year, we have one more membership meeting coming up on Tuesday, November 18th and our annual FVLA Santa Breakfast on Saturday, December 13th, a great community event!

Next Member Meeting:

During our last Membership Meeting of the year, we will have a member vote on the amount of next year's membership dues and the quantity of membership meetings held per year.  We will also provide updates on current projects.  This meeting will be held at the Ruch Building at 14th & Highland in Williamstown on Tuesday, November 18th at 6:30pm.  Hope to see you there!

FVLA Santa Breakfast

Our FVLA Santa Breakfast will continue to be held at the Ruch building at 14th & Highland in Williamstown.  This year, the event will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 9am - 12pm and will continue to be open to members and non-members. Please encourage your friends, family and neighbors to join us for this event.  We are also looking for volunteers, donations for gift baskets, breakfast foods (pancakes, syrup, sausage, orange juice, apple juice, cream, and coffee), and paper products / utensils.  We are also in need of a Santa Claus volunteer for the event - costume will be provided by FVLA.  Additionally, FVLA also plans to support our local food pantry by collecting food donations for those in need.  Please bring any pantry donated items with you on the day of the event.  If you are able to volunteer or donate, please contact (609) 417-2306 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Board Positions are Available / Volunteers and Donations Needed:

After 10 years of service and dedication to the Friends of Victory Lakes Association, Michael DeAngelis has stepped down from his position as Vice President and Barry Straga has announced his future intent to step down from his position as President.  These Board Members have been leaders of the Association since it was founded.  They have devoted their time and efforts to keep our organization focused on its goals and lead us towards our ultimate goal of rebuilding our dams.  We thank them for their hard work and commitment to our lakes.

The above Board positions as well as an open Trustee position are currently available.  We are also always in need of volunteers and donations.  Please let us know if you are interested in learning more about how you can help and get involved. To view more details about open Board positions, please visit our Board Members website page by clicking here. Additionally, donations can be made on the Home page of our website at www.fvlaonline.com.
